    New manager appointed
Tranmere Rovers have appointed Darrell Clarke as the club’s new manager.

Rovers old boys

Northampton manager Chris Hogg has always been a coach or no 2 previously and his appointment seemed a bit of a gamble. Wouldn’t fault Saunders for effort and his pace may get him into promising situations or earn a few penalties but surprised he’s done so well with his next deal.

Jim McNulty leaving Rochdale to take over at Stockport
Don’t blame McNulty going, chance to prove himself at a higher level and will get more financial backing thsn at Dale. Harder to evaluate from a Stockport perspective, not an obvious upgrade on Challinor and how much of his success at Rochdale was down to his existing knowledge of the staff there rather than team-building? Guess we’ll soon find out!

Yes the expectations on McNulty will be high after Challinors two successive play off finishes in league one. A big move from managing a team in the NL last season to one hoping to get promoted to the championship next season

Poisoned chalice, bound to go backwards. Chally couldn't get the resources he needed and so they parted. Lincoln are £11 million in debt but get the same amount in increased central funds, however.
Mr Stockport obviously didn't like the odds moving forward.

Surely he’ll follow where Challinor goes. Not sure he fancies being a number one, Ged Brannan is the same I believe.
It is believed challys family time won't last a fortnight in benidorm, next week allegedly
