    New manager appointed
Tranmere Rovers have appointed Darrell Clarke as the club’s new manager.

Season Tickets 26/27

So once this money starts coming in, Palios's 40k a week won't be needed. But I'd guess by the start of the new season the deficit will start again? Deal or no deal may be nearing a huge inflection point? Apart from central funds, no idea on the format, we must make huge losses over winter?

Despite the usual early bird deal given the anti Palios strength of feelings many may hold off until the takeover (if it happens)

Perversely that may hinder a takeover. We are in the process of building a relegation risk and is cashflow one.
On the upside our sales in recent years have been most resilient.
I'll pay my subs but in recent times you can't until last minute. Relegation may bring a black out?

Early bird deals expire in 5 days.

I’d be interested if numbers are down compared to this time last season.

They might extend the deadline if there was some good news re the ownership on the horizon

I can't see any announcement on the takeover before the end of he season. There have been no update on numbers sold by the club which could well by telling

If a certain individual leaves this club season ticket sales will receive a boost, regardless of the division we are in.
They surely have to extend the deadline now.

Numbers must be down and plenty won’t renew either due to Palios still being around, or if we’re in the national league. Or both

Many fans fervently believe in the completely contradictory. Palios is a cheapskate, the budget is too low, the losses too high and possibly an erroneous view on the NAV.
The budget rather coincidentally is the same as as the annual deficit.
That loss is intrinsically linked to what the owner has directly or indirectly raised in funds. £2.7m isn't my idea of if cheapskate.
As has been expressed here at length, the somewhat dubious spin of the potential new owners and alleged aims, do boil down to one thing.
The accountancy NAV will be demolished with the ground and be literally the fee for a clear site circa £10m.
What's more we are near the end of an unreported season so circa another £3m debt. A mid table campaign would cost you the same next term. How soon would you expect a new stadium to open, 5 years?
Having read what the Texans claim to intend, I am very sceptical. High risk means big reward, if it was dragons den it would be a no from me in any case.
Their scheme will rely on huge leverage, the only community aspect would be to gain tens of millions in grants and nearly all revenue would be from mainstream retail capitalism not sport.
I suspect the industry is completely unsustainable at this level and the music will stop soon and some will perish. At least Chester will survive!

It will be utterly ridiculous not to extend the deadline

Suggestions elsewhere that the numbers of season tickets sold are below a thousand. If true that currently reflects a shortfall of a couple of thousand on this seasons number.

I was surprised at the number who renewed last season, despite the Earlybird cut-off being brought forward a couple of weeks, to a point where FL2 safety was uncertain. Though unlike this year, the momentum was in our favour and playing some decent football.

The football has been dreadful for most of the season and the results even worse. I keep getting emails from the club about renewing and being 'a part of it'. I want no part in this mess..

Thing is the club just don't seem to care

We normally just get kids ones n@d let the club do whst they want with them, but we are not doing it anymore till the takeover is done

I hit 70 in October. I’ve watched Tranmere since 1968 and it is fair to say that there have been up and down phases throughout. I’m sure things will improve. Maybe I’m stupid but that comes with being a supporter

Or maybe it’s because I’ve always applied Per aspera ad astra.to my way of thinking.

Yeah, the hard times make the tiny amount of good times you have even better.

Rovers are my out of real life activity so i'll be there. If there's a club there for the forseeable that is...
