Rovers return to Prenton Park on Good Friday to take on Doncaster with only four games left to play. After the somewhat unbelievable 3-3 draw on Saturday against Accrington, Rovers find themselves seven points clear of the relegation zone with twelve to play for. A win here would pretty much guarantee safety and might even shoot us up a few places.
Standing in our way is a Doncaster team who are flying this season. They have two wins and three draws from their last five games and their last defeat came over a month ago against Bromley. They are 4th in the table and are playing for an automatic promotion spot. There are only five points between themselves and Port Vale at the top with Bradford and Walsall also looking to bag those coveted top three places. They have won 20 games this season scoring 62 goals in the process.
The last time the two teams met was on 21st December and it didn't end well. Rovers had their pants pulled down with goals from J. Olowu, P. Kelly and K. Hurst whilst a late Sol Solomon goal ended the game 3-1.
Danger men for Doncaster include Luke Molyneux and Jordan Gibson who are a constant threat down the flanks with plenty of goals and assists between them. The well travelled Billy Sharp will not feature after receiving a straight red against AFC Wimbledon after landing a headbutt into Lewis' back. Loanee Rob Street will most likely feature up front.
