Next up for Rovers is another away trip, this time to Highbury Stadium to take on Fleetwood. Rovers are enjoying a mini resurgence since Andy Crosby took charge having taken 8 points out of a possible 12, remain unbeaten in 4 and come off the back of an excellent 1-0 away victory at high flyers Bradford.

The last time the two teams met was on 11th Feb in a stalemate at Prenton Park in which Rovers were pretty woeful in front of goal.

Fleetwood meanwhile are having a decent season. They are currently in 14th place, 8 positions above Rovers and 13 points better off. Their recent form has been decent with 2 wins and 2 draws although they did get thumped 3-0 on Saturday against Colchester.

Midfielder/forward Ryan Graydon is having an excellent season for The Fishermen with 9 goals and 7 assists. Matty Virtue can also chip in with goals from midfield with 8 so far while 34-year old Danny Mayor brings the experience in the middle.

Not much on the injury front for Rovers as a few players are close to a return but no news as of yet.

On current form, Rovers have a great chance to come away with some points.

I've gone for a draw 1 1 to keep our new managers unbeaten run going.
We have sold out the initial allocation of 500 tickets

It’ll be interesting what the team selection is. Both Saunders and Merrie in particular made a difference at Bradford. I’d expect the latter to start but Dennis may be given another run out on the basis that Fleetwood may put us under less pressure than Bradford did. That said arguably Saunders deserves a start although I think he’s better as an impact player.

If we can avoid defeat then it’ll be a decent result

I think as someone said previously, there is a time and place for Saunders. We have to remember he cannot finish a dessert, so I would definately start with Dennis and just see how the game pans out. The good news is that Crosby seems to read the game well and is not afraid to make changes like we saw on Saturday.

After the last 2 results another solid and ugly game if it getsus a point then so be it. If we play well but lose then so be it.. Lets hope and see long mey this run continue. I would still play Dennis and yes use Harvey for impact

Norris and Davies are training with the squad in the photos online
Can’t see either starting after the result on Saturday but Crosby will have some decisions to make for the bench.

After last week's unexpected win, another away win would be more than welcome. My problem is that even with upturn in form, I can't see where the goals are going to come from to keep our winning run going so with that I am plumping for a 1-1 draw, hoping that I will be proved wrong and another three points will come our way.

As others have said, it is the where and who is going to score, to get another good result.
And a good result may be a draw if the results go our way.
so a 0-0 for me.

I just have a really awful feeling that the new manager bounce may be over tho.

If they keep playing like they have been, no reason why we can’t come away with points. Sometimes you make your own luck.
We won last week without creating a single good chance, can't recall any chance tbh. There has been no change in the style or level of play, the difference has been the odd handball and penalty area trip. Watch 89 mins of the last ten matches and you will see little difference.
My last remaining hope is apart from Morecambe hitting the buffers as well, is the surge in results brings a fresh wave of confidence. Confidence can break through walls, however Saunders has had several boosts over the months and just reverts to his norm.
Defeat today is no biggie as last week brought points when I expected two defeats. He'll have to bench either Hawkes or Morris though to retain consistency.

I see the Americans are promoting a total clear out which would be a Carlisle Max tactic, it makes some genius to bankroll double relegations and we seem to be on the cusp of consecutive ones after FGR.

Yeah, he admits he got it wrong last week and although Bradford are a different challenge to Fleetwood I got the impression he wasn't comfortable giving away that much possession. I'm not sure there is a place for Morris at the moment with Norman and Patrick occupying the wide areas.

I think there will be a place for Morris in home games if we play with two tens, as we did against Vale and Bromley. I think he will be used away against weaker opposition as well, but agree Merrie will probably start today.
