Not announced until next Thursday but interestingly no premier league games on Boxing Day or New Year’s Day next season. Could give our attendances a bump up
 
Regular league fixtures out tomorrow but Tranmere Rovers have been drawn in Northern Group B of the 2025/26 Vertu Trophy, and will face Barrow and Blackpool as well as one invited under-21 side from a Premier League club, to be confirmed tomorrow.

Quite tough, but you have to remember that based on last season’s results we are the worst northern team in the competition, so any opposition might be tough. ;)
 
Morecambe took 4 too and look where that still got them.

Carabao Cup first round draw at 4:30 today live on sky sports. Rovers are ball number 33.
 
Tough start away at Danny Cowley’s Colchester then two home games v shrewsbury and gillingham.

Oldham away 20th December and Fleetwood at home on Boxing Day.

Notts Forest under 21s completes the draw
 
Accrington away in the preliminary round of the caravan cup. Week commencing 4th August.
