Interesting to read that Arsenal have sacked their team doctor following a review by a Spanish sports physiotherapist to look into their long injury list last season.
Wonder how our latest detailed review is progressing and whether we will see any meaningful changes...

Our new manager has a reputation for a hard pre-season regime, that should help in terms of general fitness, what we've heard so far of any review taking place is that the injuries we've experienced appear to be just 'bad luck' rather than due to anything that can be particularly identified.

The club has been advertising a full time first team physio, which may or may not be one of the outcomes of the review.

Don’t know if that means either John Adediran or his assistant is leaving.

Which is almost certainly nonsense of course. We have had significant issues with injuries for years, not just in the last twelve months.

Ultra fitness has little to do with injuries, in fact in some cases the more finely tuned certain muscles are the more prone to strains.
Much of our recent problems have been impact injuries. If course linking.a groin with a broken bone to claim an injury prone player is absurd, but some will.
We carry three players of dubious onward potential due to injury, that is a real issue. The other is we have had only one first keeper not above average in a decade, that is likely to not happen again

Injury Breakdown & StatisticsFrequency: Injury incidence in the EFL is estimated at roughly 9.1 injuries per 1,000 hours of football-related activity (including training and matches).Matchday Impact: While the vast majority of football is played during training, match injuries are nearly 10 times more frequent on an exposure-per-hour basis. In the lower leagues, a typical team averages about 2 to 2.5 injured players on any given matchday. Most Common Injuries: Thigh muscle strains (predominantly the hamstrings) are the most prevalent, accounting for about one-third of all injury incidents, followed by knee and ankle ligament sprains.Typical Missing TimeModerate Severity: The majority of injuries sustained in the lower divisions are considered "moderate severity," keeping a player sidelined for anywhere from 8 to 28 days.Total Burden: When looking at squad-wide numbers, teams in lower tiers generally accumulate between 750 and 870 total days lost to injuries per season

No, but it will help with the apparent 'fitness issues' we have seen the last few seasons. I hope the club are looking in detail at the physio treatment regime, the training ground, warm up and warm down processes and recovery. The club saying they haven't yet found any particular cause, is of course completely different from there not being any particular cause.

Help with an apparent? Fact is we were short on numbers and players had to stay on past their time. Micky sacked the data off when he got desperate. He was religious with it earlier
I suspect we didn't use data last time, Finley 20 mins after spent was preferred to the alternative.
I believe we had the physical tools but not numbers
Got a horrid feeling some yanks think this is some board game. Recall Terry smith getting to Chester and thinking he needed to get an offense and a defense to succeed.no one asked him which were the midfielders. Recipe for farce.
