Fixtures 25/26

With our opening fixture at ColU in mind, I see they only returned to training last Thursday, so a week later than us.

They’ve also put out a statement this morning that the proposed sale of the club is off. That’s the sale of Colchester, not us!

Also sounds like Morecambes change in ownership has hit the buffers.

Maybe their prospective buyer is turning his attention to us instead! ;)

Joking aside, he has said he’s looking at other clubs in L1/L2, although he also said he might be back in for ColU at some point.

That’s an absolute mess!

Their prospective new owners apparently passed the EFL test despite their links to a previous bidder who failed the test, as well as question marks about their supposed business empire.

But now they’re the victims because the current owners refuse to finalise the deal on the terms they’d agreed with them.

Or something like that!
 
Our League Two fixture at home against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday 9th August has been moved to a 12.30pm kick-off and will be covered live on Sky Sports+.

The Pound maybe weak but the dollar is a lot weaker which won't help with international takeovers
